These families picked up their most precious gifts yesterday, the gift of yorkie love. Enjoy and congratulations.
We are a New England couple living in Maine and are here to share our love for the Yorkshire Terrier breed with you. Our "Taylor Made" puppies have great bloodlines, are AKC registered and are bred to be within the Yorkshire Terrier 'standard'.

MY WONDERFUL HELPER IN RI
HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE
MCCUE TESTIMONIAL
In March of this year, I lost my little Hannah who was a 14 year old Yorkie. I began researching breeders in my area to find another love to heal my broken heart.
I was intrigued by Holly's website because it provided everything possible that you would need to know about the breed, puppyhood and care. I called and had a great conversation which ultimately led to my first visit to TMY. My husband and I both went to visit and we were both impressed with the fact that these dogs mean the world to Holly and Scott and it is their passion, not just a business. We decided to open our hearts again to a little guy who we named Kolbe. He is smart, cute, loveable and just what we needed! About that same time, Holly wanted to find a good home for one of her mothers who would no longer be having puppies. Jazzy came home with us too! One of my friends said her name should have been Zsa Zsa because she is so dainty, regal looking and so well mannered. She just wants all of your love!
I would whole heartedly recommend TMY to anyone looking for a Yorkie. Holly is always there for questions and support and there is no one more knowledgeable about the breed. Thank you Holly for both Kolbe and Jazzy - they are the hi-lite of 2009 for our family.

HOLIDAYS FAST APPROACHING
As the holidays creep upon us, remember dog safety during this time. Traditional pointsetters are poisonous to our canine friends. Also watch to be sure they don't eat tinsel off the tree or try to remove glass balls off the tree. Sounds like a pain I know........but their safety and well being is important too.
Be aware of the temperatures outside. Your dog is only single coated and their feet and pads get cold very quickly. Show patience during these cold winter months as they might have an accident or two inside. Winters can be difficult on them. My dogs love to romp in the snow but they don't stay out long.
Be aware of the chocolate.........we all have it hanging around during the holidays. NO chocolate for our babies and be sure not to leave it within reach. They don't know it is not good for them.
Just some thoughts for all of you during this joyous time. Holly

INDY AND MEADOW WIN IN RHODE ISLAND
Meadow won Best in Breed and Winners on Friday and Saturday picking up 2 more points. She now has 5. Indy won Winners Dog on Saturday picking up one single. He needs one single point to finish his Championship but we will have to wait until next year now. I was very proud of them both.
