Geordie is home for a visit. He is hanging out with the men tonight but that big yawn tells me he is bored to death...........LOL

A VISITOR AT TMY......BABY MOOSE!!

Yesterday morning I looked out the window as I awoke to see that TMY had a visitor. This baby moose hung out all day and did not leave until about 7 pm last night. Amazing..........this little guy acted like he wanted to join me on the porch as I shot pictures of him.

Ruby delivered tonight. ALL are doing wonderful 3 boys and one girl. The boys are available however the little girl is not available for sale at this time.

We had Ruby'x xray and she is expecting 4 puppies. Scott took the pictures.......blame him for the blurry pic and for cutting off a head. LOL

Time got away from me. I didn't have a chance to come on here to wish everyone a very happy Easter. I hope all of you had a nice one. We spent time with family and resting the end of the day. All the puppies are keeping me busy. Our new addition, Vegas had one single female puppy born on March 31st. She is a gorgeous little baby and fatter than a butterball having all that milk to herself. Vegas is being a wonderful mommy and I can't wait to see how her puppy matures. Ruby is due in 11 days. This is our first litter with her and Champion daddy Sutton. This also is the only line breeding we have done as Sutton and Ruby have the same grand daddy back. We are excited to see what we get........pray for girls as this is what folks are asking for.
Don't forget the Yorkie family reunion in late June. I will post more later.

SURPRISE VISIT ON ST PATTYS DAY!!!!! AKC!

I have not had a minute to write on here this week and wanted to tell all of you about my surprise visit on St. Patty's Day. At 5 pm or so, I was still working....my job has been very busy this week, but the house was filled with the aroma of a nice corned beef cooking. I went to the door and a man was standing there, he flashed me his I.D. He said, hello, I am from the AKC and I am here to inspect your dogs and kennel. I know my mouth dropped open, usually they call ahead and let you know they are coming. I asked him why he did not call me......he told me the number he had kept giving him a fax machine...........he was dialing 201 instead of 207 for the Maine area code. Anyways, I let him in and told him to inspect what he needed. He checked multiple forms and was "impressed" I was using them but impressed they were all up to date. He "loved" our set up here and loved the dogs who were super friendly. Delia jumped into his arms and gave him kisses!!! He couldn't believe a dog with babies would be so friendly. He checked for identification and other things..........."Everything is perfect", he said. "This is the way it should be!!" I was so pleased and so happy!!
He came back the next day to drop off my paperwork which he could not print out at my house.......you know...computer issues. I thanked him for all of his compliments. Every breeder who registers litters of pups that are AKC registerable will have an inspection every year and a half depending on the number of litters registered per year. The rest will be inspected by random if they are in the area. This was my first AKC inspection. Honestly I was nervous as I didnt know what to expect. But having passed with 'FLYING COLORS AND MANY COMPLIMENTS........MADE MY DAY!

We have had a successful breeding with Lucy, now we need to wait to see if she will be having puppies in May. If so, she will be due around the 16th. She is such a pretty girl we are looking forward to seeing what we get. Daddy is Sutton.

As the story goes..........both times I have stayed with my friend her cat has HAD to sleep with me. Sorry, as a dog and cat lover I just had a really hard time sleeping with a cat with NO hair. Have you ever had a cat with NO hair rub your legs at night.......OH MY!! This last time when I was there, she took over my pillow. I went to lay my head down and low and behold she was inside the pillow case for the night............I gently turned the opening away from me and let her stay there.........whew.........I did get some sleep. LOL .............kitty kitty kitty.........LOL
